How do we know God's sovereignty over governments is true?

The doctrine of God's sovereignty over all earthly authorities is supported by multiple scriptures, including Isaiah 46:9-10, which states, 'I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning.' God controls the rise and fall of nations and appoints rulers to fulfill His divine purpose. Acts 4:25-28 describes how even the actions of kings and rulers serve to accomplish God's will, showcasing that He commands history and governs the affairs of mankind according to His sovereign plan.
