How do we know God's timing is always perfect?

Answered in 2 sources

God's timing is perfect as demonstrated in the story of Lazarus, where Jesus delayed his arrival for a greater purpose.

Throughout John 11, we see that God's timing is always precise. When Jesus learned of Lazarus' sickness, He chose to remain where He was for two more days before coming to Bethany. This was not an accident but a deliberate choice to glorify God and strengthen the faith of His disciples and Mary and Martha. Jesus explained that it was for their belief that He was glad He was not there when Lazarus died. This serves as a reminder that God's understanding of 'time' differs greatly from ours; what we perceive as delays can lead to greater works and revelations of His glory. For believers, understanding this gives us comfort in knowing that every event in our lives occurs at the right time, guided by His sovereign wisdom.
