How do we know God's truth is reliable?

Answered in 1 source

God is described as a God of truth, whose nature is perfect and unchanging.

God is portrayed in Scripture as a God of truth who cannot lie, as we find in Deuteronomy 32:4. His works are perfect, and His nature does not change. This immutability ensures that His promises and declarations about Himself and His will remain constant, providing believers with a reliable foundation. John 14:6 reinforces this by declaring Christ as 'the way, the truth, and the life', indicating that knowing God is impossible apart from His truth. Therefore, we can trust God's word completely because He is eternally true.
