How do we know God's ways are different from ours?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours, reflecting His infinite wisdom.

Isaiah 55:8-9 teaches us, 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.' This verse powerfully illustrates that God's perspective on events and His decisions are beyond human understanding. In 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, it is clear that what is deemed foolishness by man—like the message of the cross—is, in fact, the power of God for salvation. Therefore, the apparent foolishness or weakness of God demonstrates how profoundly different His understanding is compared to ours.
