How do we know God's will for our future?

Answered in 1 source

We believe God's will for our future is revealed through His Scripture and understood by faith as we live each day in submission to Him (James 4:15).

James 4:15 encourages believers to approach life with the attitude of 'If the Lord wills.' This reflects a humble submission to God's sovereignty and acknowledgment of His ultimate control over our lives. It's significant that while we may make plans, it is the Lord's purposes that prevail (Proverbs 19:21). As we walk in faith and rely on God's wisdom, we grow more attuned to His will, experiencing peace in the knowledge that He has all our tomorrows in His hands. This approach fosters a profound trust in Him, allowing us to face uncertainties with confidence.
