How do we know God's will prevails over man's will?

Answered in 1 source

The confusion of languages at Babel shows that despite human rebellion, God's sovereign will ultimately prevails.

God's sovereignty is evident in the Tower of Babel narrative; despite humanity's unified rebellion against God, He intervened to confound their language and scatter them. This act demonstrates that God's will cannot be thwarted by human desires or efforts. As stated in the sermon, the whole account illustrates the reality that every man and woman will face the truth that God’s will, not their own, will ultimately prevail. Scripture supports this view by emphasizing that the hearts of men may plan their ways, but the Lord directs their steps (Proverbs 16:9). This assures believers that God's plan is always accomplished, despite any rebel efforts against it.
