How do we know God's will regarding our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We acknowledge that our lives are in God's hands and His will determines our paths (James 4:15).

According to James 4:15, believers ought to say, 'If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this or that.' This acknowledgment reflects a deep trust in God's sovereignty over our lives. It reminds us that our plans are subject to His will and purposes. Throughout Scripture, God's character is revealed as one who is sovereign, meaning He has the ultimate authority over creation. Thus, submitting to His will is crucial for understanding our life direction and purpose.
