How do we know God's wrath is justified?

Answered in 1 source

God's wrath is justified because it reflects His perfect holiness and the necessity of justice against sin.

God's wrath is not based on personal vendetta or malice like human anger, but is a perfect manifestation of His holiness. As stated in Genesis 18:25, 'Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?' God’s actions are inherently just because He is the standard of righteousness. His wrath serves to maintain moral order in His creation; thus, its existence is vital for understanding His complete nature and the consequences of sin.
