How do we know God saves His elect?

Answered in 1 source

God saves His elect by the work of Christ, who died for their sins and calls them to Himself (Romans 8:1).

The assurance of God's saving work among His elect is rooted in the substitutionary atonement of Christ. The Bible proclaims that Jesus bore the sins of His people, thus satisfying divine justice and securing their redemption (1 Peter 2:24, Romans 8:1). This assurance is not contingent upon human efforts but on the immutable promises of God. The Scriptures show that those whom God has predestined will inevitably come to faith in Christ, as seen in John 6:37, where Jesus states, 'All that the Father gives me will come to me'. This culminates in the realization that while the call to believe is universal, it is effectual for the elect, affirming that they will respond to God’s gracious invitation to salvation.
