How do we know God sees our hearts?

In 1 Samuel 16:7, we find the important truth that 'the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.' This verse emphasizes that God has an intimate understanding of our innermost thoughts and intentions. Unlike human judgment, which is often superficial, God perceives the true condition of our hearts.
