How do we know God still heals today?

Answered in 1 source

While God can heal, the nature and purpose of healing today differ from biblical times.

In Acts chapter 3, it is emphasized that God does still heal, but not in the same manner as during the apostolic age when miracles were signs that authenticated the apostles' message about Jesus. Today, healing can occur, but it usually operates through means such as physicians and medical professionals. This perspective highlights that while God can intervene supernaturally, we recognize that His providence encompasses the use of natural means. Furthermore, the unique purposes of sign miracles from the apostolic era, designed to affirm the truth of Christ and His Gospel, are no longer needed as the foundation of the church has already been laid.
