How do we know God will draw near to us?

The assurance of God drawing near to us is grounded in His character and promises. Hebrews 10:23 urges believers to hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering because He who promised is faithful. Our faith is not in our ability to reach God, but in His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. This promise is not based on our merit but on Christ's atoning work, through which believers are brought into communion with God.
