How do we know God will help us in our struggles?

Answered in 3 sources

We can trust that God helps us in struggles as He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us, as stated in Hebrews 13:5.

The assurance of God's help in our struggles is grounded in His promises throughout Scripture. He continually reassures His people of His presence, exemplified in Hebrews 13:5, where He declares He will never desert us. The narrative of Jacob in Genesis 32 highlights this truth; despite his fears and struggles, God was present with Jacob and engaged him in a transformative encounter. This shows that in our difficulties, we must depend not on our flesh, but on God's grace. Our problems become opportunities for God to reveal His strength as we learn to cast our cares upon Him, acknowledging our weaknesses.
