How do we know God will help us in the future?

Answered in 1 source

We can trust in God's future help based on His past faithfulness and promises, especially as articulated in 2 Timothy 4.

The assurances of future help from God are grounded in the consistency of His past interventions and the promises made in Scripture. In 2 Timothy 4, the Apostle Paul reflects on his life of service and concludes with confidence in what lies ahead: 'Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness.' This conviction arises from his experience of faithfully serving God despite numerous trials. By remembering God's past assistance and His covenant promises, Christians can rest assured that God will guide and support them through life's challenges, underscoring His unfailing love and commitment to those He has called.
