How do we know God will judge us in righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will judge righteously because He has established His law and promises to uphold it without exception.

God’s judgment is based on His perfect law, as stated in Exodus 34:7, where God proclaims that He will not clear the guilty. He judges with absolute righteousness, meaning all sin is punished in accordance with His standard. Unlike human judges who may exhibit bias, God's judgments are always true and just, ensuring that every violation of His law is addressed. As believers, we find assurance in knowing that through Christ, who satisfied God’s wrath, we are judged according to His righteousness rather than our own shortcomings.
