How do we know God will keep His promises?

Answered in 3 sources

God’s faithfulness is demonstrated through His unchanging nature and the fulfillment of His covenant promises.

God's faithfulness is a recurring theme in Scripture, showing us that He is true to His word. In 1 Samuel 7, we see how God responds to the cries of His people, indicating that He hears and acts on behalf of those He has chosen. The mention of 'Ebenezer', which means 'the stone of help', symbolizes the Lord’s continual support and assistance to His people. Throughout biblical history, from the covenant with Abraham to the promises of salvation through Jesus Christ, we see that God keeps His promises consistently. Thus, we can trust in His faithfulness as He works all things for the good of those who love Him, as expressed in Romans 8.
