How do we know God will never abandon His people?

We can have confidence that God will never abandon His people because His nature is faithful and steadfast. In Philippians 1:6, Paul writes, 'Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.' This verse reassures us that God's grace operates in the life of every believer, continually working to bring them to maturity and fulfillment in Him. Regardless of the trials faced, God remains present, supporting His people and fulfilling His promises.
