How do we know God will preserve His people?

Answered in 2 sources

God’s preservation of His people is rooted in His eternal purposes and unchanging nature, as stated in Isaiah 46:10.

In Isaiah 46:10, God declares, 'Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done.' This verse reflects God's sovereignty and His certainty about the future. His declaration that He will preserve His people is rooted in His unchanging will and divine purpose. For believers, this means that our security does not rely on our own efforts or righteousness, but firmly rests on God’s initiative and commitment to carry us through life. His promise of preservation signifies that He will ensure our salvation and continued spiritual growth, despite the trials we face, showcasing His grace and mercy throughout our lives.
