How do we know God will protect us in trouble?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will protect us because He is our refuge and strength, always present in times of need.

David confidently states in Psalm 27 that even when surrounded by enemies, his heart will not fear because he trusts in God's protection. The assurance of God's help is founded on His promises and His character as a protector and savior. The psalm assures believers that God will not forsake them even in their darkest moments; our trials are under His sovereign control, and He is faithful to deliver us from harm. Therefore, our faith in God's promises fuels our confidence in His protection.
