How do we know God will provide for our needs?

Answered in 12 sources

Matthew 6 teaches us that God cares for all His creation, providing for their needs, and we are of greater value to Him than the birds of the air.

In Matthew 6, Jesus provides compelling illustrations of God's provision for creation, particularly in verses 26-30. He points to the birds, which do not sow or reap yet are fed by God, as an affirmation of His care. If God is so attentive to the needs of less significant creatures, how much more will He provide for His people? This doctrine of Providence reassures believers that God knows our needs and will supply them, asking us to trust Him and prioritize our relationship with Him rather than being consumed by anxiety over material provisions.
