How do we know God will save us?

Answered in 4 sources

We can be assured of God's salvation through faith and His promises, as demonstrated by Christ's sacrifice on the cross.

Assurance of salvation comes through faith in the promises of God and the completed work of Christ. In this sermon, the preacher illustrates that Christ took on the sins of His people, bearing their afflictions and loneliness, thereby securing salvation for them. As stated in Psalm 25:16, 'Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me,' we see that God's mercy is integral to our salvation process. Moreover, when we look to Him in faith, we are met not only with assurance but also the guarantee of His faithfulness. Because Christ fulfilled the law and satisfied divine justice by His death, we can have confidence that those who trust in Him will not be cast away.
