How do we know God works in us?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God works in us because we believe the gospel and experience a continual hunger and thirst for righteousness.

The evidence of God working in us is primarily seen in our belief in the gospel and our desire for righteousness. As stated in Ephesians 1, after we hear the gospel of our salvation, we trust in Christ, which confirms God's working in our hearts. Moreover, as believers, we will experience an ongoing hunger and thirst for righteousness, a desire that grows stronger as we understand our need for Christ and His grace. This hunger signifies life, transformation, and a recognition of our dependence on God, leading us to continuously seek Him in prayer, worship, and fellowship.
