How do we know grace brings salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture clearly states that grace is the source of our salvation, as seen in key passages like Ephesians 2:8.

The Apostle Paul makes it abundantly clear in his writings that salvation is brought about by grace. In Ephesians 2:8-9, he states, 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.' This indicates that grace is primary to our redemption and that it is wholly a gift, not something earned through human effort. Moreover, throughout the sermon based on Titus 2:11, the preacher reiterates that every aspect of our salvation—from election to glorification—is rooted in God's grace. The grace of God not only brings salvation but also instills in believers the evidence of that salvation, such as repentance and faith, both regarded as gifts from God.
