How do we know grace giving is true?

Answered in 1 source

Grace giving is true because it reflects the nature of God and His love for us as demonstrated in Scripture.

The truth of grace in giving is rooted in the character and actions of God Himself. In 2 Corinthians 9:6-8, Paul teaches that God loves cheerful givers and has the ability to make all grace abound to those who give. This is an echo of God's own grace towards us—He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, out of love, thus transforming our hearts to reflect that same kind of giving. Because we are made in the image of God and filled with His Spirit, we are empowered to give out of grace rather than compulsion. This transformation can be seen in the lives of believers who give not out of obligation but willingly and joyfully.
