How do we know grace has dominion over us?

Paul, in Romans 6:14, asserts that sin shall not have dominion over those who are under grace. This means that true believers, transformed by God's grace, will no longer be dominated by sin or the law. Instead, the ruling power of grace enables them to live in righteousness. To determine if grace has dominion over one's life, a believer must examine whether they yield their members as instruments of unrighteousness or as instruments of righteousness.
