How do we know grace is essential for helping the poor?

Grace is the foundational principle that motivates believers to help the poor, both materially and spiritually. In 2 Corinthians 8:9, the apostle Paul highlights that Christ, though rich, became poor for our sakes. This act of grace is what empowers us to extend love and compassion to others.
