How do we know grace is more powerful than the law?

Answered in 3 sources

Grace is shown to be more powerful than the law through Christ's fulfillment of the law and His redemptive act that leads to salvation.

The power of grace over the law is evident in Romans 7:6, where it is stated that believers are 'delivered from the law.' Grace triumphs because while the law exposes sin and incites our flesh to rebellion, grace through Christ provides a way to salvation without our works. Paul makes it clear that our deliverance is due to the death of Jesus, which severed our legalistic ties to the law. This means that instead of being confined by the law, believers are empowered by grace to serve God with a new heart and spirit, allowing for a life that bears fruit unto God, contrary to what the law could produce.
