How do we know grace is more powerful than the law?

The power of grace over the law is evident in Romans 7:6, where it is stated that believers are 'delivered from the law.' Grace triumphs because while the law exposes sin and incites our flesh to rebellion, grace through Christ provides a way to salvation without our works. Paul makes it clear that our deliverance is due to the death of Jesus, which severed our legalistic ties to the law.
