How do we know grace is more than the law?

Answered in 1 source

Grace is revealed through Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the law and offers life to those who believe (Romans 3:24).

The distinction between law and grace is illuminated through the person of Jesus Christ. The law provides an unyielding demand for righteousness and exposes human sinfulness without presenting a path to redemption. In Romans 3:24, we see that grace justifies believers freely through the redemption found in Christ. He satisfies the law’s penalties on our behalf, demonstrating that grace does not nullify the law but rather establishes it by fulfilling what we could not achieve ourselves. Thus, grace is not merely a lesser version of what the law demands; it is the powerful act of God that offers salvation and a new relationship with Him.
