How do we know grace is sufficient for sin?

Answered in 1 source

Grace is sufficient because Christ’s sacrifice covers all our sins, past, present, and future.

The sufficiency of grace is illustrated through the promise of Christ's atonement. Romans 5:20 states that where sin abounded, grace abounded much more. This means that no matter how deep our sin or how far we have strayed, God's grace through Jesus Christ is always greater. It reminds believers that while we will stumble, Jesus serves as our advocate before the Father, assuring us of forgiveness and restoration. This reinforces the doctrine that salvation and maintenance of our relationship with God are not dependent on our performance but solely on His grace and mercy.
