How do we know grace is sufficient for sins?

Answered in 1 source

Grace through Christ is sufficient because He offers forgiveness and reconciliation, even for those who have sinned egregiously (Ephesians 4:32).

The concept of grace is foundational in the Reformed understanding of salvation. Despite our sinful nature and the infidelities we commit against God, Christ's grace extends to all who believe. Ephesians 4:32 calls us to forgive one another just as God has forgiven us in Christ. This reflects the unchanging and merciful nature of our God, who does not put us away despite our sins. The eternal nature of Christ's sacrifice assures us that we are covered by His grace and cleansed from all unrighteousness, illustrating that true forgiveness and reconciliation are always available in Him.
