How do we know grace is the source of success?

Answered in 1 source

Grace is recognized as the source of success because it is God's unmerited favor that enables spiritual transformation (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Grace, as an expression of God's unmerited favor, is foundational to the Christian experience. In salvation, it is not our own efforts that bring about success, but the sovereign work of God's grace that apprehends the believer and changes the heart. This grace is not based on human merit but is entirely free and dependent on God's will. In Genesis 6:8, we see that Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord, which signifies God's decision to favor him despite the wickedness of humanity. Therefore, grace is the definitive source of success in our spiritual lives, making us able to stand justified before God.
