How do we know grace is true in our belief?

Answered in 1 source

Our ability to believe is the direct evidence of God's grace at work in our hearts.

The reality of grace is expressed in our faith. If one is able to truly trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, it is clear evidence of God's grace in their life. The sermon highlights that there is no true believing where the grace of God is absent. As it is written, 'He that believeth on him hath everlasting life' (John 3:36). The assurance that comes from one's ability to believe is fundamentally rooted in grace, demonstrating that it is God who acts first to change the heart and mind of the individual toward faith.
