How do we know if a door opened is from God?

Answered in 1 source

A door opened by God will lead you closer to Him and align with Scripture.

To discern if a door has been opened by God, consider whether it draws you towards obedience and faith, particularly in the Gospel. In this sermon, it is emphasized that any opportunity that diverts you from the truth or the preaching of the Gospel is not from God. Paul encourages believers to seek the Lord in prayer regarding these openings. For instance, in Colossians 4:3, Paul asks for prayer that God would open a door for him to preach the mystery of Christ. Thus, if an opportunity leads to spiritual growth, aligns with God's word, and encourages sharing the Gospel, it is likely a divine invitation.
