How do we know if a minister is corrupt?

Answered in 1 source

A corrupt minister is known by their lack of reverence for God, their abuse of authority, and their failure to preach Christ.

Corrupt ministers can easily be identified by their actions and teachings. In 1 Samuel 2, the sons of Eli showed signs of being corrupt by not knowing the Lord, manipulating the offerings for their gain, and abusing worshippers. They ignored God's commands for their personal benefit, indicating a fundamental disregard for Scripture and divine authority. Furthermore, 2 Corinthians 6:15 questions the relationship Christians have with those who do not embody Christ's teachings, urging believers to discern those who distort the Gospel for personal or financial gain.
