How do we know if our faith is real?

Answered in 1 source

True faith is evidenced by endurance in the face of trials and a continual dependence on Christ.

The authenticity of one's faith is demonstrated by its perseverance. As Hebrews 10:23 states, believers are encouraged to hold fast to their profession of faith without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. If a person truly possesses God-given faith, they will endure through trials and not draw back. The historical examples provided in Scripture, such as Abraham and David, illustrate that genuine faith will face challenges, yet will ultimately sustain and sanctify the believer as they press forward toward Christ.
