How do we know if our judgment is righteous?

Answered in 1 source

We can discern righteous judgment by aligning our thoughts and actions with God's will as revealed in Scripture.

To judge righteously, one must first be willing to do the will of God, as stated in John 7:17: 'If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine.' This indicates that a commitment to obeying God's commands is foundational to understanding truth. Additionally, righteous judgment is characterized by a reliance on the teachings of Scripture and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 2:14-15, it's noted that spiritual matters are understood by those who possess the Spirit, enabling them to discern all things rightly. Thus, maintaining a humble posture before the Lord and seeking His wisdom are essential for righteous judgment.
