How do we know if our religion is true?

Answered in 1 source

We can know our religion is true when it results in true faith in Christ alone and brings peace to our souls.

To determine the authenticity of one’s religion, one must examine whether it leads to faith in Christ as the sole Savior and Lord. The preacher states that true faith will be marked by a recognition of one's sinfulness and an understanding that all hope of salvation lies in Jesus' righteousness, not in our efforts or sincerity. True faith is also evidenced in a transformed life that seeks communion with Christ and loves His people. If one's religious observance does not bring peace or satisfaction, it should be questioned for authenticity. Only through the grace of God can we achieve true faith that assures us of our standing before Him.
