How do we know if the Lord is our shepherd?

In John 10:27, Jesus asserts, 'My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.' This is the core evidence that He is our shepherd. If we are truly His sheep, we will recognize His voice in Scripture and follow His lead in our lives. Self-examination is encouraged; we should assess whether we exhibit a genuine relationship with Christ, characterized by faith, love, and obedience. Our assurance stems from God’s grace, which transforms our hearts and compels us to follow Him.
