How do we know if we are good ground hearers?

Answered in 2 sources

Good ground hearers are those who actively receive the Word of God and produce observable spiritual fruit.

To be a good ground hearer, one must not only hear the Word of God but also truly receive it into the heart, leading to the transformation that results in spiritual fruitfulness. This is evidenced by characteristics such as love, joy, peace, and other fruits of the Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5. A good ground hearer approaches the Word expectantly and prayerfully, desiring its application in their life, which in turn showcases the genuine work of God in their heart, producing fruit that reflects His glory.
