How do we know if we are part of God’s elect?

Answered in 1 source

We can know we are elect by our faith in Christ and our dependence on His grace.

The assurance of being part of God’s elect is grounded in our faith in Christ and our deep reliance on His grace. As the preacher emphasizes, true believers understand that salvation is not earned or deserved but is a work of God that transforms their hearts to hate false gospels and cling to the truth of Christ’s atonement. We see this in Romans 8:30, where it states, 'Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.' Therefore, if we see evidence of faith and an ongoing compulsion toward prayer and supplication for God’s grace in our lives, it indicates our election and belonging to the house of David, which is the Church.
