How do we know if we are truly believers?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are true believers when we trust in God's grace and His Word.

A true believer does not merely hold a general belief in God but actively trusts in His specific revelations found in Scripture. They acknowledge that faith is a gift from God, as stated in Ephesians 2:8, and recognize that their salvation is entirely due to His grace. A believer will find themselves agreeing with the truth of Scripture, even when it exposes their sinfulness, and will respond to God's Word with belief and trust.
