How do we know if we are truly following Christ?

True followers of Christ understand their sinful nature and continually strive for repentance and faith. They recognize that the commands of God are not just meant for others but apply to them personally. This self-awareness, paired with a desire to live a life that honors God, reflects a genuine relationship with Christ. Unlike the Pharisees, who externalize their righteousness, true believers know that acceptance before God comes only through faith in Jesus and not through their own works.
