How do we know if we are truly growing in grace?

Answered in 1 source

Marks of growth in grace include increased humility, a growing love for Christ, and a deeper love for others.

Recognizing growth in grace can be identified through specific marks evident in a believer's life. Increased humility is a primary indicator; as one grows closer to God, the awareness of one's own sinfulness and unworthiness often intensifies. Moreover, a true and sincere love for Christ becomes more pronounced as a person learns and experiences more of His character and work. Additionally, the growth of love for fellow believers is crucial. This selfless love, measured not only by its presence but also by its increasing expressions, signifies a vibrant growth in grace. If these marks are absent, it raises questions about the genuineness of one's faith and relationship with God.
