How do we know if we are truly in union with Christ?

Jesus indicates in John 15:2 that every branch in Him that does not bear fruit is taken away, while those that do bear fruit are pruned to produce even more. Authentic faith manifests itself through heartfelt qualities such as genuine love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control. If you find these attributes growing in your life, it is a strong indication of your union with Christ.
