How do we know if we have saving faith?

Answered in 4 sources

Saving faith is evidenced by a genuine belief in Jesus Christ and the presence of three key graces: faith, hope, and love.

To determine if one possesses saving faith, individuals should assess whether they have faith, hope, and love in their hearts, as reflected in 1 Corinthians 13:13. True saving faith is a gift from God and is created in the believer's heart by the Holy Spirit. It is focused solely on Christ's redemptive work (John 6:47). Saving faith perseveres and continually trusts in Jesus throughout a believer's life, demonstrating itself through love for others as the evidence that one has passed from death to life (1 John 3:14). Those without these evidences should deeply seek the Lord for genuine faith.
