How do we know if we've been saved by grace?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are saved by grace when we believe in Jesus Christ as our only hope and do not rely on our own works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

According to Ephesians 2:8-9, salvation is a gift from God, given by grace through faith, and not by our works. This indicates that true assurance of salvation comes not from anything we do or can achieve but from our faith in Christ alone. When we find ourselves depending solely on Christ for our righteousness and salvation, it is evidence of His grace at work in us. This is contrasted against self-righteousness, which seeks to attain God's favor through personal merit.
