How do we know if we've truly heard God's voice?

Answered in 1 source

We know we've heard God's voice when we value what He values and recognize the priceless nature of His gifts.

To determine if one has truly heard God's voice, one must evaluate how they estimate the value of things in relation to God's estimation. For example, the Scriptures point to the understanding that if individuals recognize that certain things are priceless and cannot be earned or bought—including God's Word, redemption, and faith—it is an indication that they have indeed heard from God. This spiritual perception is a transformative work of grace, allowing us to see things through God's perspective.
