How do we know infants are saved when they die?

Answered in 1 source

According to scripture, infants who die are viewed as resting in the Lord's grace.

In the sermon, it is argued that infants possess a special grace upon death, suggesting that they are at rest with the Lord. This is supported by the example of David's child in 2 Samuel 12:23, where David expressed hope in reuniting with his child, indicating a belief in the child's eternal state. Job 3 also remarks on the peace obtained in death as referring to infants, signifying that they are in a state of rest. Ultimately, it is posited that their salvation is not based on their innocence or knowledge but through the righteousness of Christ, as conveyed in Romans 5:19, where by Christ’s obedience, many are made righteous.
