How do we know Jesus actually saved anyone?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus saved His people through His accomplished work on the cross.

The assurance that Jesus indeed saved His people is rooted in Scripture, which teaches that His sacrifice was effective for those He represents. Unlike other teachings that suggest Jesus made salvation possible or is dependent on human belief, the Reformed understanding stresses that Jesus secured the full redemption of His elect. The apostle Paul emphasizes this in Romans, clarifying that those whom God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, underscoring that salvation is not uncertain but assured for the elect. Understanding Jesus as the true Savior entails acknowledging His omnipotent role in delivering His people from sin once and for all.
