How do we know Jesus as our wisdom?

Answered in 1 source

We come to know Jesus as our wisdom through the gospel, which reveals our need for Him and His sufficiency.

The essence of knowing Jesus as our wisdom lies in the recognition of our own uncleanliness and helplessness apart from Him. Job 14:4 notes that 'who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean?' Only Jesus, who is fully clean and the righteous one, can cleanse our hearts. The gospel effectively reveals to us that it's not through our works but through His wisdom and sacrificial love that we are granted understanding and acceptance before God. As we grasp the depth of our sin and the heights of His grace, we begin to see Jesus as the very embodiment of divine wisdom that meets our every need for salvation.
